1. From the riseforclimate.org homepage, click on “Host An Event”
  2. Fill out the contact information form
  3. Enter the details for your event on the event creation page. Don’t worry if you don’t have all the information yet, you can edit this information later.
  4. If you don’t already have an Action Network account, click “Save Action & Create Account”. If you already have an Action Network account, click “login”.
  5. If you are creating an account, enter the information required to create your account and click “Let’s Go!” Make sure you enter your country information correctly. If you aren’t seeing a list of countries, click “Not In The US?” to show the country list.
  6. It will take you to a login page with a message letting you know you have been sent a confirmation email. Don’t close this page or you could lose your progress.
  7. Go to your email inbox and click on the link from Action Network to confirm your account.
  8. Go back to the window with the login screen and login with the account you just created. This should take you back to your event.
  9. Click “Save And Go To Next Step”
  10. Enter any instructions your attendees would need to know to be involved in your event such as travel directions, meeting locations or if they need to wear or bring anything.
  11. Hit “Save & Publish”
  12. Your event has been created! Use the box on the right to invite your friends and networks to your event.
