Upload Photos

To submit your photos from a Rise action, just send us an e-mail and follow the instructions below.

  1. Add your photos as attachments, making sure not to exceed individual photo size of 3MB.
  2. Use your action country as the subject.
  3. The body of your email will be the caption for your photos. Include a compelling one-sentence description of your event and what is happening in the photo (include any photographer credits in the e-mail body/caption).
  4. Send your email to photos@riseforclimate.org.

All submitted photos and action report content may be reproduced under an Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 license.

Submit your video through Dropbox

  1. Make sure your individual file size doesn’t exceed 5GB and the file format is either .mp4 or .mov.
  2. Please submit only your highlights – a reel of the best shots you captured (max 5 minutes)
  3. Please use this naming system for your video file: RISE_2018_Country_City_Date_YourName_Description
  4. Please upload your footage unedited (no colour grading, no music, no titles).
  5. If your footage includes any interviews in other languages than English, French or Spanish, please include a note in the description section of your submission form telling us what language they are in, or add it to your file name (RISE_2018_Country_City_Date_YourName_Description_Language).

By submitting your video clip(s) you agree for 350.org and it’s affiliates to copyright, publish, reproduce, exhibit, transmit, broadcast, televise, digitize, display, otherwise use, and permit others to use, including on the Internet, and for any purpose, including, but not limited to, promotion of 350.org, its affiliates, or their services, without further consent or payment.
